Derrick Morgan was not on the practice field again for the Titans today. It appears that Morgan is a long-shot at best to play this Sunday against the Lions. That is bad news for a team that is already struggling to get pressure on the quarterback. This should provide and excellent opportunity for Kevin Dodd to step up.
Kendall Wright was classified as limited in practice by Jim Wyatt. Jason Wolf said you can expect both Morgan and Wright to miss the game on Sunday. Again, this is not a surprise. Wright’s hamstring has been giving him problems since the beginning of camp. He already came back once and had a setback on that same day. There is no way he plays before he gets in a full week of practice.
The Titans seem to be healthy with the exception of these two guys. Hopefully both of these guys can return to action in week 3.
