Every Wednesday the Tennessee media talks with the coach and a player from the opposing team. This week the opposing player on the call was Nashville native Golden Tate.
As you might expect, Jim Caldwell has a healthy respect for Titans’ QB Marcus Mariota:
.@Lions coach Jim Caldwell said the @Titans are a physical team on the offensive line, with a quarterback that's "deadly."

Caldwell also had high praise for Titans DE Jurrell Casey:
.@Lions coach Jim Caldwell said @Jurrellc is a nightmare to prepare for, and said he's a "wrecking crew"@Titans

I bet if Caldwell was asked what he thinks of Mike Mularkey’s plans to play Casey less he would be 100% in favor of it. Just as any opposing coach would be.
Tate said on the call today that he grew up a Titans fan (from Jim Wyatt):
There aren’t a ton of players in the NFL from Nashville. It is neat to hear from a guy that grew up as a fan of the team.
Speaking of old school Titans fans, did you know that Cubs’ shortstop Addison Russell wears #27 because he was such a big fan of Eddie George growing up? That’s really cool.
