Dorial Green-Beckham continues to disappoint

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Tajae Sharpe has been great this offseason. I really hope he ends up living to the hype he is generating because the Titans have a history of taking receivers with all of the upside in the world who can't get it done on the field. It is not over yet, but it sure seems like Dorial Green-Beckham is head toward the land of Tyrone Calico and Kenny Britt.

DGB let a ball get taken away from him in the scrimmage last night. Paul Kuharsky asked Mike Mularkey about it afterwards, and Mularkey said that DGB needs to be putting in the extra work that keeps that from happening. From PK's article:

"That's spending extra time when nobody is watching," Mularkey said. "That's doing things when nobody is watching. That's in the classroom. I think it's just putting the work in without being directed by anybody. Doing it yourself."

PK followed up to ask if that meant DGB wasn't putting in the extra work, and Mularkey said he needed to do it more.

I really hope the message gets through, but it was obvious at times last year that DGB had no idea what he was doing out there. How much has that changed? His talent, as great as it is, can only take him so far.
