I am of the belief that the Titans are going to keep another running back after DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry and Dexter McCluster. With the release of David Cobb yesterday, the remaining two guys fighting for that spot are Bishop Sankey and Antonio Andrews. Sankey has looked better running the football this preseason, but Mike Mularkey has said Andrews has the inside track to a roster spot because of his ability to play special teams.
In a perfect world, the Titans wouldn't keep with guy. They won't need either guy unless both Murray and Henry go down with an injury, and the ceiling is pretty low on both guys.
If they were going to keep one based on the ability to play running back it would be Sankey. Andrews runs angry, and I like that, but he is never going to be a guy a team can build there rushing attack around. He also isn't a 3rd down back, which I kind of think Sankey could be.
Keep an eye on how these two play tomorrow night. There could be a roster spot on the line.
