"Well if I had money,
I'd tell you what I'd do..."
Day 4 observations from Jim Wyatt. He notes Sankey got some praise from Mularkey after practice. Mularkey said that he saw a lot out of Sankey on the last few plays at the end of practice, and that it was honestly the best he's seen out of him these past years. Mularkey also had praise for rookie Tackle Jack Conklin. Conklin has been holding his own, and even helped win a WWE style Championship belt for the Offensive Line. The other thing Wyatt takes note of is the growing list of injuries. Also worth a mention: Amy Adams Strunk was seen chilling at practice for the third day in a row.
Quick Hit: McCormick's observations from Day 4.
Now it is John Glennon's turn to give us 5 observations from Day 4 of Training Camp.He starts off by mentioning the injury to Kendall Wright. Wright injured his hamstring, and so far it doesn't seem to be serious. Kalan Reed picked off a throw by Mariota, Sankey continues to work hard (but is buried on the depth chart), some players were missing from practice today due to injuries, and Douglas made the catch of the day.
Quick Hit: David Cobb is healthy and optimistic.
Mariota doesn't want to let the fans down. He senses the excitement from the fan base, but knows that the team needs to live up to the expectations the fans have for the team. Mariota likes the designed (QB) running plays being implemented into the offense, and has really been enjoying the presence of Andre Johnson and Tajae Sharpe (and he's also becoming in sync with Rishard Matthews). He plans to keep on working to improve his game, and I have a strong feeling the guy won't let us down.
Glennon recounts the beginning of the Titans (then Oilers) in Tennessee.
Paul K gives us a story of the first year the Titans (Oilers) were in Tennessee.
Amy Adams Strunk sends a message with the new improvements to the facility.
