Titans roster cuts: What are the Titans going to do at outside linebacker?

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Yesterday Terry Lambert highlighted the first 10 cuts made by the Titans. The biggest name there to me Deiontrez Mount. I thought he was a lock to make the roster, if nothing else because the Titans have zero depth at the position. They have Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo and Kevin Dodd, but who do you love past that. David Bass makes the team there as well because he is always around the ball, but I haven't seen him contribute as a pass rusher. Who do you keep past that?

It will come down to J.R. Tavai, who made some big plays in the preseason opener against the Chargers but hasn't done much since, or Aaron Wallace, who the Titans drafted in the 7th round this year.  The guys from A to Z Sports, who did their roster projection on our Facebook page this morning, projected Tavai over Wallace because Wallace missed a lot of time with an injury early in camp. That makes a lot of sense.

I am going to work on another 53-man roster projection here in a few minutes, so check back around lunch time for that.
