The Titans began their roster cuts this afternoon, releasing ten players after the third pre-season game.
There was one surprise on this list in Deiontrez Mount. Mount figured to be in the running as a spot pass rusher behind Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan. By most accounts, Mount was having a decent camp -- but apparently the Titans didn't feel the same way. He was probably in a battle with David Bass for the fourth OLB spot behind Kevin Dodd, which Bass apparently won.
Blidi Wreh-Wilson is the second name fans will recognize. It was just time with Wreh-Wilson. He was given every opportunity to start for this team last year but failed miserably. He was the low man on the totem pole.
Andy Gallik, Lamarcus Brutus, Will Campbell, Donte Foster, Amarlo Herrera, Reece Horn, Tyler Patmon, Nick Ritcher and Mike Smith round out the final cuts of the day.
The team has until Tuesday to get down to 75 players. They currently sit at 78.
