The Titans finished practice today and there was some good news- Jason McCourty is off the injury report. The Titans have upgraded their roster at a lot of spots...including corner. The problem is they upgraded from guys like Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Coty Sensabaugh...not the top end of the position. That means they desperately need Jason McCourty....and Perrish Cox for that matter....to be on the field.
McCourty has missed time with a hip flexor injury. There was some concern that the injury could be related to the groin issue he had last year. That would have been a disaster.
There was also news today that Kevin Dodd has a chance to play in the 3rd preseason game against the Oakland Raiders. He is still working his way back into football shape, but getting him on the field will be a huge step in the right direction.
The news was not as good on Kendall Wright. Mike Mularkey said Wright is doubtful for the game against the Raiders.
