Titans-Panthers: One winner, one loser

Joshua Lindsey-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans came back to earth on Saturday in their loss to the Carolina Panthers. The yards did not come as easily against a Panthers defense that was among the best in the league last season. This game was less eventful that the first one, but there were still a couple of players that stood out as a winner and a loser.

Winner

Tajae Sharpe:I think this tweet says it all:

Sharpe had 6 catches for 68 yards in the loss.

Loser

Antwon Blake: Blake was picked on by the Panthers quarterback. According to Pro Football Focus, Blake was targeted 6 times and gave up 6 catches for 113 yards and a touchdown. Ouch! The Titans aren't counting on Blake to start, but they are counting on him to provide quality depth. He didn't do that on Saturday, but hey, if he has his worst game of the year in the preseason, that's a good thing.
