The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson according to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN. There are no details yet on the terms of the deal, but I would expect that is a 1-year deal with a lot of incentives built in. It was reported earlier this week that Johnson had been in for a visit.
Johnson didn't do much last year in Indianapolis. He had 41 catches for 503 yards and 4 touchdowns. It is not fair to judge him on those numbers, however, because of the quarterback situation they had there with Andrew Luck missing most of the season.
There is no doubt that Johnson isn't the same guy he was in 2013 when had almost 1,500 yards receiving, but with the wide receivers on the Titans roster, there is no reason not to bring him in and take a look during camp.
This should officially put Justin Hunter and Harry Douglas on notice. Both of those guys were brought in by the previous regime and will need to show something in camp to make this roster.
