Paul Kuharsky has some really good news on Kevin Dodd this morning:
Titans GM Jon Robinson told me outside linebacker Kevin Dodd "looks good, should be good to go" when the team hits the field on Saturday. Dodd was the 33rd pick of the draft out of Clemson and the team hopes he will be a third quality edge pass rusher. He had surgery in late May to insert a screw in his right foot to repair a stress fracture. The Titans should open camp with everyone available. The Titans need Dodd to contribute right away. Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo are really good when on the field together, but Morgan is coming off of a serious shoulder injury and Orakpo was largely ineffective when Morgan was out. The Titans desperately need another guy to contribute at the position. They drafted Dodd to be that guy. He needs all of the work he can get in camp being a rookie.
