"What's with these homies, dissing my girl?
Why do they gotta front?..."
Jim Wyatt is kicking off a series of "Training Camp Previews," and he begins with the Quarterbacks. Mariota (who I guess will be starting) has added five pounds, and has been looking stronger and more confident. Metten-couldn't win a game-berger was released, and Matt Cassel was signed. Alex Tanney is still holding strong to the third spot on the depth chart. It remains to be seen if the Titans will keep three Quarterbacks or not, but at least we know there won't be a shake up at the top.
Terry McCormick continues his camp battle series with the Defensive Line. The defensive line was one of the few positions that didn't need an upgrade this off-season. All three starters are returning next season, and Jurrell Casey is leading the charge. Al Woodz will be plugging the middle, but may face some competition with new comer Austin Johnson. DaQuan Jones is on the opposite side of Casey, and started all sixteen games last season. There is also some depth along the line with Angelo Blackson, Karl Klug, and Ropati Pitoitua (who I kind of forgot was still on the team). There are also some undrafted guys chillin' on the roster as well.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
