Dolphins sign Arian Foster

New, comments
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Arian Foster has agreed to a 1-year deal with the Miami Dolphins according to multiple media reports. This deal has been rumored for weeks and finally came to fruition today. Foster, who turns 30 in August, is coming off an Achilles injury that ended his 2015 season in week 7. Ironically, the injury came against the Dolphins.

I am glad to see Foster out of the AFC South. The Titans had trouble finding an answer for him in most of their match-ups throughout the years. The Titans will still have to face him as the Titans travel to Miami on October 9th.

The one knock on Foster has always been his durability. He has only played in all 16 regular season games twice in his 7 year career. It is hard to see him doing it in 2016 coming off of the Achilles injury.

I am by no means a fantasy football guru, but if I am going to invest in a Dolphins' running back, it is not to be Jay Ajayi- not Foster. You just can't count on Foster to be there for you week in and week out.
