The Titans will have all 10 draft picks signed when training camp opens for the first time since the Floyd Reese era*. Jason Wolf of The Tennessean is reporting that Byard, the 3rd round safety from MTSU, will sign his contract on Monday. He was the lone holdout from the 2016 class.
I think Byard is going to be a really good player. He won't start over Rashad Johnson this year, but that will give him chance to learn from a veteran who is a really solid player at his position. Johnson is only signed for a year. Byard will be ready to step in and play in 2017 (or Johnson is really good, they lock him up and have 3 quality safeties- nothing wrong with that).
So Jon Robinson has completed his first offseason and it looks to be a very successful one. Now we get to see how it plays out on the field.
