"I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink,
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink..."
*Holy. There is next to NOTHING right now. I didn't find much...awesome. I'm going to just quote a paragraph from the article and link to it today. Hopefully I can find a few good things tomorrow. 'Tis the off-season after all! Training Camp needs to start so bad.
Titans Links!...Kinda!
I have previously linked to an article on this same topic (it was written by John Glennon), but Dave Ball is looking to use his life experiences to help others.
"'I couldn't deal with it anymore,' Ball said. "After that meeting we broke into defensive meetings and I started to have a crazy emotional breakdown. I was crying during the meeting. And when we went to walk-through I couldn't take it. I told Munchak I need help, and that I was struggling. I was stressing out. I told him I couldn't deal with it any more. I was so stressed out.'"
The Titans hosted a second annual 7-on-7 Passing Tournament. The champion of the tournament was once again Oakland High.
"'This isn't football, but it is good to do football things. It is good to cover people, good to throw and catch, good to play some coverage and good to be able to compete, most importantly.' Oakland's coach Kevin Creasy said. 'We are real pleased with how our guys threw and caught the ball, played defense, played coverage. And I'm really proud with how they competed.'"
Terry McCormick has a "camp battle" series going on, and today we get the Wide Receivers. I can't recall if I linked to the offensive line camp battle article or not, so here it is as well. (I guess I could just go look at past articles to see...meh).
"'Once again heading into training camp, the TItans have question marks at the receiver position. There is such a question mark that the two starting receivers from OTAs and mini-camp weren't even on the roster last year. Rookie Tajae Sharpe has been the talk of camp with his precise route running and solid hands. Now the pressure ramps up a notch as camp an(d) preseason approach. The other starting receiver thus has been the free agent import Rishard Matthews, who is cut from the same cloth as Sharpe, in that route-running and good hands are his trademark as well.'"
That's all for today. Happy reading!
