Titans Links!
Ben Jones is already a favorite with the Titans and Marcus Mariota. He is already making a big impression on both Mariota and Terry Robiskie. Mariota leans on him to help him out with some of the new facets of the offense. Jones does a great job at identifying the defense. He is making Mariota's job a little easier, and to me he sounds like the Center we have been dying to have.

Quick Hit: Robinson and Mularkey talked about the Titans at the Nashville Sports Council event.

DeMarco Murray needs to help Mariota sell the play fake. Mularkey wants the backs to "bury the fake" and to run the play as if they were really holding the ball. Murray is very good at helping to sell the play-action plays. Orakpo stated two backs that are really good at selling the fake are Marshawn Lynch and LeSean McCoy. Orakpo goes on to say he has seen similar things out of Murray during practice.

Quick Hit: Wyatt gives us three notes about OTAs.

Joe Rexrode has a pretty cool article on Rashad Johnson's journey in the NFL. He didn't receive any college offers, was a walk on for Alabama, and ended up getting drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2009. He has already had an impressive career (100 games played, 51 of those he started, 344 tackles, and 15 interceptions). Rexrode mentions this, and it is kind of surprising he didn't come out of free agency with more than a one year deal for $2 million.

That's all for today. Happy reading!
