"Well, I'm hot blooded, check it and see,
I got a fever of a hundred and three..."
Titans Links!
How close is DGB to reaching his potentoil with the Titans? Will he ever reach his potenoil? DGB reported to OTAs in better shape, but fell victim to a hamstring injury flare up that kept him on the bench. By the time he reached the field again; Tajae Sharpe passed him on the depth chart. Sharpe got ahead of him thanks to his route running and consistent hands. This put both Hunter and DGB on notice that physical attributes alone aren't going to be enough to get on the field. DGB has been digging more into the playbook, and studying it closely to be sure he knows what he is supposed to be doing on the field. Hopefully DGB will keep working hard, and that work will pay off during the season.
Quinton Spain is aiming at keeping the left guard starting spot. He worked there with the starters during much of OTAs, and he plans on retaining that spot when training camp begins. He understands he is the underdog at making that spot when the season begins, but he likes that. Being the underdog has been the story of his life, and he likes to go out and prove people wrong. Prove us all wrong, Spain! Olé!
That's all for today. Happy reading!
