"There's an echo pulling out the meaning,
Rescuing a nightmare from a dream..."
Titans Links!
Wide receiver talk again! So apparently rookie Wide Receiver Tajae Sharpe is awesome? (Please be and stay awesome!). The dude is already repping with the first-team offense. He's been making plays, rocking one-on-one drills, and he's been showing patience on his routes. Sharpe notes that one of the veteran players he has been keeping an eye on is Harry Douglas. He knows Douglas knows what he is doing out on the field, and wants to learn technique and how to do all the little things right.
Quick Hit: Jim Wyatt bullet points three noteworthy things from Wednesday's OTAs.
Officials have been brought in during OTAs. They are there because the Titans are wanting to stress discipline. You lack discipline! So far the "penalties" have been up and down, and too many were made on Wednesday. A lot of them have been false starts and off-sides...which is ridiculous considering they are happening during 7-on-7 drills. Mularkey says the penalties are discussed after every practice, and they work on ways to fix them. During the last half of the season: the Titans ranked first in fewest penalties committed in eight games. They only committed 34 during that span. The Patriots were second, and committed 39. Mularkey is wanting to continue the trend of not getting penalized, so that they aren't beating themselves on Sundays.
Quick Hit: Dick LeBeau is impressed with the new shiny Running Backs.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
