"When your only friends are hotel rooms,
Hands are distant lullabies..."
Titans Links!
The Titans selected OT Jack Conklin with their first round pick last week. On Friday he visited the Titans' facility and took a tour before heading back home. DeMarco Murray met him during his short visit, and has said he passes the eye test. Murray has a friend who is a big Michigan State fan, and when the Titans selected Conklin he texted Murray and told him Conklin is a mauler, beast, and is nasty. Marcus Mariota texted Conklin when he was drafted. He congratulated him, told him to enjoy this time, and that he looks forward to meeting him.
Quick Hit: Rashad Johnson is embracing his new team, and approach.
Paul Kuharsky asks: How much can one off-season class reshape the Titans? The Titans are making a push to change the tone of the team. They are wanting to a form a team of players who are team-first, love football, and are tough. They set out to do that, and have brought in/drafted players who fit that mold. So can these players help turn this team around? It can happen. It may take some time, but it can happen.
Quick Hit: Rookie safety Kevin Byard reads passes like outfielders read balls off the bat.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
