"You better love loving and you better behave,
You better love loving and you better behave..."
Titans Links!
A lot has changed during this Titans' off-season. Coaches were hired, a new GM was hired, free agents were signed, the draft happened...a lot. There are several new players on this team that I have just straight up forgotten about. One of those players is Cornerback Brice McCain. McCain signed with the team on March 2nd, and has been around and witnessed all of the changes that have happened in the organization since. He loves the changes the team has made, and loves the direction the team is headed. This is McCain's fourth team since joining the NFL, and he credits his preparation for his smooth adjustment to each team he has been had the opportunity to play for. He keeps notes from each team he has played for, and that includes the time he spent with the Pittsburgh Steelers when he played under (then) DC Dick LeBeau.
Quick Hit: Rookies are urged to stop a play and ask, "Do what?" when they are confused about something.
Whoa! Another article on a player I forgot the Titans signed this off-season! Linebacker Nate Palmer had his eye on the team thanks to a friend on the team. Palmer actually was at the Titans home game against the Jaguars (the game where Mariota put on a clinic). He loved what he saw in Mariota, and loved how fired up the fans were. He would talk to his friend on the team, Linebacker/Special Teams player Justin Staples, about the moves the Titans were making and how he liked the direction the team was headed. Then he was suddenly released by the Packers, and then found himself on the team he had just been impressed with from afar. He feels the Titans claimed him off waivers for a reason, and he is excited to not let the team down, and to give the fans something to cheer about.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
