Who doesn't love a mock draft....especially a year away from the actual draft? The answer is most people, but I actually enjoy bookmarking these things to look back and see how far off...or close they end up being to the real things in terms of where the teams pick and where the players are picked.
Dan Kadar, who killed it with the draft coverage this year, has put out a 2017 NFL mock draft. Remember, the Titans are going to have 2 first round picks in the 2017 draft. That is going to make it really fun.
Dan has the Titans taking JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, USC with the 5th pick in the draft. That is a fantastic name, but I really hope the Titans aren't making the 5th pick in the draft....unless that is the pick they get from the Rams. Here are Kadar's thoughts on JuJu:
Kendall Wright is a free agent after the season, and the Titans don’t have a lot beyond him and Dorial Green-Beckham, who is far from proven.
The Titans then turn around and pick another USC product, CB Adoree' Jackson, with the pick they get from the Rams:
Jackson is a superstar player who can shut receivers down on the outside and make big plays on special teams.
Sounds awesome, but if that is true, how is he still available at #11?
