The NFL has released the preseason schedules for all 32 teams today. Dates and times will be announced at a later date. The picture above is Justin Hunter because, as you know, he is a preseason All-Pro. It just seemed fitting to feature him in this post.
Here is the Titans schedule:
Week 1: San Diego
Week 2: Carolina
Week 3: @ Oakland
Week 4: @ Miami
It is interesting that the Titans get 2 west coast teams this preseason. The NFL usually tries to keep preseason games between teams that are in pretty close proximity to one another. That is not the case with this schedule.
In case you have forgotten, here are the Titans 2016 regular season opponents:
They will face all of the teams from the AFC South (Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Houston) both at home and on the road. They will also play every team in the AFC West (Denver and Oakland at home; Kansas City and San Diego (possibly Los Angeles) on the road). In the NFC, they are matched up against the NFC North (Green Bay and Minnesota at home; Chicago and Detroit on the road).
Since the Titans will place 4th in the AFC South, they will face the 4th place finisher in the AFC North (Cleveland at home) and the AFC East (Miami on the road).
