NFL.com did a feature on which 5 teams are the most likely to trade up with the Tennessee Titans for the #1 pick. The usual suspects- the Browns, Rams, 49ers and Eagles are all in there- but the 5th team was a surprise to me- the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys currently hold the 4th pick in the draft.
If we go back to the trusty Jimmy Johnson trade value chart, we see that it would take "1,200 points" for the Cowboys to move up from #4 to #1. That means it would probably take this year's 2nd and 3rd round picks plus next year's 1st round pick for Dallas to make that move. Sign me up!
I doubt Jon Robinson ends up with multiple suitors for the first pick. I still believe Robinson's best case scenario is to spook the Browns into swapping picks and giving him an extra 3rd round pick- maybe a 2nd if he can really scare them.
