A lot of people aren't familiar with the player the Titans took with the first pick of the 3rd round, but the kid can play football. His highlight reel is one big play after another:
The Titans signed Rashad Johnson to a one-year deal this offseason. Byard probably isn't going to come in and start over Johnson, but he will have a year to learn and be ready to take over in 2017.
Robinson has done a nice job of raising the overall talent on the roster tonight. Kevin Dodd gives them depth at EDGE rusher. Austin Johnson gives them depth in the middle of the defensive line. Derrick Henry gives them a legitimate option behind DeMarco Murray. Byard gives them a play making safety that they haven't had since the early years of Michael Griffin.
