Titans Links!
Yesterday the Titans signed (Slot) CB Brice McCain to a *two year deal with a base value of $4.4 million and a maximum worth of $5 million. McCain has played seven seasons in the NFL, and last season played for the Miami Dolphins. He reunites with DC Dick LeBeau who coached him during his one season in Pittsburgh back in 2014. Under LeBeau he recorded 3 interceptions (one of which was returned for a touchdown), 25 tackles (per Wyatt; Pro football reference shows 21 tackles with 10 assists), and played in 14 games. McCain is very excited to play for LeBeau again, and is looking forward to meeting his new teammates as well.

Currently Robinson is using the grading system used previously by Webster. That will all change after the draft. Jon plans on implementing the grading system used during his time in New England. Right now the grading system is like this: Put a number on a player. The new system will be more specific. Each number will define a player's specific role (an example used in the article is a 4th corner who will also play in the kicking game will have a number distinguishing that role for him).  The times they are a-changin'!

Peter King of Sports Illustrated sat down with Jon Robinson for an hour on Sunday. The impression he had after his interaction? The Titans are in good hands. He loves that Robinson is all about football and that he also understands the public part of the job as well. He also likes that Jon understands this isn't a "one player can save the team" draft, and that it will take additional drafts to build the team. He likes his chances on Robinson turning this team around, and hearing these things do not help me temper my expectations for the guy.

Todd McShay is now projecting Tunsil to go number one overall to the Titans. He feels Tunsil is a better fit for the team, and is even more of a lock if he "checks off all the boxes" at his Pro Day and interviews. Is it April yet?

That's all for today. Happy reading!
