Amy Strunk Adams has been getting out in front of people recently. Just this past weekend she was at Sports Fest, an annual event put on by 104.5 the Zone, a sports talk station here in Nashville. She talked to Paul Kuharsky at the event, and had this to say about the situation with Titans' ownership and the NFL:
"I think they obviously think there is a little something to it," she told ESPN.com. "Every month we’re getting closer to what they want. It’s going to get resolved. We’re not worried about that at all."
Well Pro Football Talk has a source inside the NFL that says, basically, not so fast my friend:
As one source with knowledge of the discussions tells PFT, the Titans ownership situation is still "a mess," with the NFL not satisfied by efforts to address issues with the hierarchy — and with the possibility of a forced sale still very real.
This is something worth keeping an eye on as the months go along. Peyton Manning still hasn't announced what his post-football life is going to look like....
