Well I guess the Titans liked what they saw in Brice McCain when he visited yesterday, as he has agreed to sign with the Titans per Adam Schefter. It is being reported that the deal is for 2 years and worth $5 million.
McCain started 11 games for the Dolphins last year with 1 INT and 10 Passes Defended.
This is obviously a depth signing as McCain played primarily in the nickel. I like the move, personally. I think he will fit in well with Jason McCourty and Perrish Cox. He is an immediate upgrade over what the Titans had behind their starters at corner with Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Coty Sensabaugh. Those two got torched regularly last year.
The Titans still need to add another corner, either in free agency of the draft (JALEN RAMSEY), to come in and actually compete with McCourty and Cox. You need to have 3 good corners in today's NFL. I'm not sure if the Titans have 2 at this point.
