Louis Vasquez is officially on his way/in Nashville

An option at left guard.

Jeremiah Poutasi may turn out to be a very good left guard in the NFL, but Jon Robinson isn't leaving any stone unturned.

Louis Vasquez tweeted out a few hours ago that he was on his way to Nashville for his workout with the Tennessee Titans. For those who don't know, this was a meeting that was supposed to be on Friday, but the Ohio State pro day and other events put it off until today.

For those who don't know who he is, here is a quick rundown on Vasquez:

-28 year old guard, drafted in the 3rd round by the San Diego Chargers in 2009.

-Vasquez had a nice career with the Chargers and was the "other guard" in the 2013 free agent class in the shadow of the great Andy Levitre.

-Vasquez went on to get his first and only All Pro selection in 2013 after a great season with the Denver Broncos.

-There are rumors about some questions with his knee, but according to ESPN the guard never missed a game in his three years with the Broncos and has only missed 10 in seven years.

If the Tennessee Titans are really uncomfortable throwing Poutasi in the fire in year two, then it really wouldn't be a bad signing to add Vasquez to the team. Best case scenario both he and Poutasi are great and you have to make a tough decision about who to start, with the other being the first guy to come off of the bench. Worst case, you have an experience (but not old) guard who can help you in the run game at the very least while your future left guard develops.

Win-win.
