2016 NFL Free Agency: Titans re-sign DT Al Woods

The Titans have filled the hole they had a nose tackle by re-signing Al Woods to a 3-year deal. Al WOODZ as he is know around MCM was a solid contributor to the team last year. He's no Damon Harrison, but he can get the job done and comes at a fraction of the price.

Woods came to the Titans from the Steelers back in 2014. Titans defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau is obviously a fan of Woods. His numbers don't jump off the page at you, but his job isn't to put up numbers. His job is to take up space in the middle of the 3-4 and let the linebackers run free.

Jon Robinson continues to do solid work in free agency. To recap, he has traded for DeMarco Murray and signed Brice McCain, Rishard Matthews, Ben Jones, Matt Cassel and Woods. They still have holes to fill at free safety and right tackle.
