As was briefly said in yesterday's links: the Titans have reached an agreement with WR Rishard Matthews. Here's a nice little tidbit of information for you: Quarterbacks had a passer rating of 125.1 when they targeted Matthews. Dang, son! I just hope Jefferson doesn't ruin him. Oh wait...

New (backup) QB Cassel is eager to work with Marcus Mariota. Cassel understands his role with the team. He knows he isn't here to compete for the number one spot, and understands that, if anything, he is here to help Mariota. He really loves Marcus' attitude and ability, and is ready to help in any way he can.

Ben Jones brings some personality, and some oddity, to the team. I know I have already mentioned this, but it bares repeating: he drank his own urine once. Something I like about him though: seeing his QB get hit bugs him. He takes pride in protecting his QB, and it makes him happy when he can keep his QB healthy and his RB scouring touchdowns. That makes me happy too, Ben.

Additional free agent news was a bit slow on the second day, but it's being reported that Safety Rashad Johnson and Guard Louis Vasquez are expected to the visit the Titans. Please sign Vasquez. Please!
