Josina Anderson of the NFL Network is reporting that Rashad Johnson will be visiting the Titans on Friday. The Titans have a hole at free safety after releasing Michael Griffin (who signed with the Vikings) earlier this offseason. We know Johnson is a stud because he played his college ball at the University of Alabama.
Johnson was a 3rd round pick of the Arizona Cardinals back in 2009. He has been with Arizona for his entire career. 2015 was Johnson's best year of his career in terms of interceptions. He had 5, including one in the playoffs against the Packers and Aaron Rodgers.
If we are being honest, the Titans have needed to upgrade the free safety position for quite a few years. Jon Robinson was willing to cut ties with Griffin where Ruston Webster was not, for whatever reason. Johnson is a solid player that would be an upgrade over Griffin.
