"Step by step,
Day by day,
A fresh start over,
A different hand to play..."
Titans Links!
Currently there are three players favored as the number one pick of the draft: Laremy Tunsil, Jalen Ramsey, and Joey Bosa. Jim Wyatt takes a look at the pros and cons of each of those players. Wyatt notes that other players are also up for consideration (he doesn't name any), and also reminds us that Robinson is still open to trading away the pick.
One draft analyst, Matt Miller, believes Jalen Ramsey is the best player in the draft. He knew he would rock the long jump, but he was really impressed that a dude his size could run the 40 that fast. He believes where Ramsey will really shine is in the interviews. Miller realizes it would be a bit "unorthodox" to take a defensive back with the first overall pick, but he feels it would pay off huge dividends in the end.
Joey Bosa's 40 time wasn't seen as all that impressive. Former GM Bill Polian believes his numbers indicate he will not be able to win on his own when it comes to playing in the NFL. Will Bosa's less than stellar 40 time dissuade the Titans from taking him first overall? I guess time will tell.
