"Black ocean, cold and dark,
I am the hungry shark, fast and merciless..."
Titans News!
Bill Belichick, some coach for some team, praises Jon Robinson. He says Robinson is smart, works hard, and is team oriented. In fact he even had an impact on how he, Belichick, scouts players. The article has some other nice things said about Robinson from Satan Bill. I'm trying to temper my expectations for the guy, but dang it, I'm really happy with this hire (so far).
Draft News!
Mel "The Hair" Kiper discussed his thoughts on the Titans and the number one pick. Originally Kiper was projecting Bosa to the Titans, but lately his stance is that the Titans should take Tunsil at number one. He likes the thought of two solid bookends on the line protecting Mariota, and that Tunsil can have an immediate impact for Mariota as well.
Paul K also has an article where he talks about Kiper's comparison of Laremy Tunsil and Ronnie Stanley. He rates Tunsil higher stating that he views him as an Orlando Pace type player who is ready to go from day one. He also says Tunsil would be a great left tackle in any draft; elite even. Stanley is also a solid left tackle in his eyes, but thinks he is more of a "work in progress" when compared to Tunsil.
Jon Robinson has his work cut out for him at the combine. Mariota has solidified the Quarterback position for the Titans, meaning the options for the number one pick are various. Robinson believes the positions that show the most depth in this draft are: Defensive Linemen, Wide Receivers, Offensive Line, and he thinks there are more good Cornerbacks than Safeties. This will also be his first big test as General Manager, so make sure you pass!
That's all for today. Happy reading!
