Turn and Face the Strange: Titans Links from Jerlindsey

He come groovin' up slowly..."

Titans News!
In news that probably shocks no one: The Titans are not planning to move McCourty to safety. Griffin's departure has left the depth at Free Safety thin, (currently Huff is the only Free Safety), but ideally the Titans are looking to have two "do everything" safeties. *Obvious statement alert: I'd expect the position to be answered in Free Agency and/or the draft.

Cut Stevens? NOPE! NOT TODAY! The Titans have re-signed Tight End Craig Stevens. The announcement was made Thursday night during the dinner event for season ticket holders. Personally I like Stevens and I'm glad he's back.

Season Ticket Holder Dinner News!
As mentioned above; The Titans held a dinner on Thursday night for season ticket holders. Fans heard from Underwood, Amy Adams Strunk, Jon Robinson, and Mike Mularkey. Mularkey stated his opportunity with the Titans is different compared to his previous coaching stops. The circumstances, situation, and quarterback are all different. He drove the point home that he wants to get old school and be a hard nosed physical football team. Just. Get. Wunz.

Amy Adams Strunk, for the first time, spoke publicly to the fans at the dinner. She stated the team is committed to winning and she is confident in the decisions she has made. She is excited about the changes and the direction the team is headed in. She also made it clear that the team is not for sale. We'll see, Amy. We'll see...

Jon Robinson is still very excited to be back home in Tennessee, and is vowing to work his fingers to the bone for the team. He said he is going to be as vague as he can be during the draft process, and we should expect a lot of smokescreens. #InRobinsonWeTrust

That's all for today. Happy reading!
