"Cause I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby,
Yeah I'm just a teenage dirtbag, baby,
Listen to Iron Maiden maybe with me..."
Titans News!
John Glennon gives a list of 5 players that he wonders if the Titans would consider cutting. It seems the rationale is that cutting these players would free up more cap space (which I guess seems obvious...). I have an issue with one of the names on this list: Jason McCourty. That would be just plain dumb. So dumb.
Paul K gives us a list of bonuses and guarantees for Titans players happening in March. I wish I was getting some of that money. Maybe if I set up a gofundme account...
Posted some links about Russ Grimm yesterday, so why not one more?! Grimm will be patient in his assessment of the O-Line. To reiterate some of what was said yesterday: he's only watched little to no film on the players, he is giving them all a clean slate, and wants them to find their own identity. He also wants each player to give to the jerlindsey gofundme account.
As fans we appreciate the history of the Titans franchise. Often times we find ourselves reminiscing of Titans players from the past. Players that I always think of from back in the day are players like Wycheck, McNair, Blaine Bishop, Eddie George, Samari Rolle...just to name a few. Well Mularkey and Robinson are opening the doors to former players.I honestly think this is fantastic. It has felt like, to me, that the Titans had pretty much forgotten about their past, and now it seems they are ready to finally embrace it.
On Wednesday night former players joined Mularkey, Robinson, and other members of the Titans organization at the team facility. There they were introduced to the new coaching staff, and told the doors would be open for them more than they have been these past few years. Here are some photos from that night!
That's all for today. Happy reading!
