Yesterday’s loss was a tough one for the Titans- not because it was a game they should have won on paper- the Chargers are a good team and that is a tough trip, but because it played out in a way where it feels like the Titans could have won it. They didn’t, however, and somehow the Colts went to Lambeau and beat the Packers. The NFL, am I right?
Anyway, here is how the division shapes up after week 9:
- Houston Texans 5-3
- Indianapolis Colts 4-5
- Tennessee Titans 4-5
- Jacksonville Jaguars 2-6
The Texans face the Jaguars in week 10. Chalk that up as a win for Houston.
The Colts have their bye in week 10 before the rematch with the Titans in week 11.
The Jaguars are done. They will be looking for a new head coach at season’s end. Hopefully they will make another bad hire to keep themselves in the basement for a few more years.
