Delanie Walker injured his groin in yesterday’s practice and will be a game time decision for the Titans against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. It is never good when a guy is added to the injury report during the week. Hopefully a couple of days off will give Delanie enough time to heal up and be ready to go.
Jace Amaro was the direct beneficiary the last time Walker was sidelined. Amaro had 3 catches for 59 yards against the Raiders back in September. Those aren’t Delanie Walker numbers, but they are serviceable enough to help the Titans in a pinch.
The news is better on DeMarco Murray. His toe that slowed him in the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last Thursday night appears to be close to 100%. He will be a full go against the Chargers.
Perrish Cox also should be able to go after missing last week with a concussion.
