Titans Links!
Jim Wyatt gives us three quick notes from yesterday's practice. DeMarco Murray Watch! Murray's workload increased in practice yesterday, and it appears he is improving. Murray initially thought the toe injury he sustained against the Jaguars was going to be worse than it turned out to be. He's encouraged by what he's been able to do in practice though. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a little more Henry on Sunday though. LeBeau vs Whiz! Whiz hired LeBeau in 2015, and now the two will be facing off against each other on Sunday. LeBeau said he is scheming and planning against Rivers, since, ya know, Whiz won't be on the field and all. Injury updates: Cox is out of concussion protocol and is expected to play against the Chargers, Rashad Johnson and Dodd practiced, Wallace was limited, Spain didn't practice and is expected to miss the game, and Walker was limited with groin tightness.
Quick Hit: Game flow will determine Henry's workload.
Conklin is ready to face off against Bosa again. Conklin is currently the highest graded right tackle (according to PFF), and has yet to allow a sack this season. Despite his high level of play, he still feels like a rookie. He said his fellow teammates along the line make sure to remind him every day that he's a rookie, but he says it is all in fun of course. On Sunday the rookie will be facing off against another rookie who is doing well: Joey Bosa. The two played against each other three times in college, but the reps between the two were pretty limited because Bosa played all over the line. Conklin acknowledges that Bosa is a good player, and that he will have to be on his game the whole time while going up against him. He said it will be a good test, and will also be fun.
Quick Hit: Morgan's patience is paying off in the pass rush.
Another Quick Hit Because I'm Tired: Stark contrast to Titans' numbers with Walker on and off the field.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
