The Titans made a lot of nice moves this offseason, but the best was the trade for DeMarco Murray. Most people thought Murray was done after the down year in Philadelphia. Jon Robinson knew better, and he got Murray for a song.
Murray has rushed 160 times for 756 yards and 6 touchdowns. He has also caught 28 passes for 197 yards and 2 touchdowns. It is obvious that the Titans offense goes as Murray goes. He has been able to shoulder the load thus far.
The only concern I have so far with Murray is the amount of work he is getting. How is his body going to hold up taking that punishment for 16 games? It might be a good idea to sprinkle in a little bit more Derrick Henry to keep Murray fresh for a stretch run at a chance to win the AFC South, but hey, if that is the only complaint we have, things could be a lot worse!
