Pro Football Focus did a post this morning on what every NFL team has to be thankful for on Thanksgiving. They went with the second best run game in the league:
There is no doubt that Murray has been the star of this team so far. I am thankful for the man that brought us DeMarco Murray, Jon Robinson. I cannot remember the last time my confidence in the future of this team was so high. It absolutely helps that the Titans have their franchise quarterback in Marcus Mariota, but I never trusted that Ruston Webster would be able to identify and acquire the pieces to put around him. Robinson has already proven that he has that ability.
The other thing that I am thankful for is the fact that the Titans are still in contention on Thanksgiving Day- even if it is a long shot. The Titans haven’t had anything to play for when Thanksgiving rolled around since about 2008.
