Perrish Cox fined $9,100 for end zone hit on Aaron Rodgers

The Titans are making huge contributions to NFL charities this week.

Perrish Cox said on The Midday 180 today that he was fined $9,100 for his hit on Aaron Rodgers in the end zone Sunday. Cox said he will appeal the fine. He will probably lose that appeal.

This comes on the heels of the report that Taylor Lewan was fined $30,000 for putting his hands on an official during the same game. Lewan will also appeal his fine.

30K seems a little excessive for what Lewan did. I understand why he was ejected from the game. You can’t put your hands on an official. Period. But he didn’t really even push the guy, and in the heat of the moment it is easy to understand how that could happen. Again, I don’t disagree with the ejection- just the amount of the fine.

Tajae Sharpe apparently also posted that he was fined for going to sleep in the end zone on his Snap Chat according to Paul Kuharsky. PK said he thought the fine was $12,000. If true, that is one of the more ridiculous things I have ever heard.
