Walt Anderson’s crew will be calling Titans vs. Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday. Anderson’s crew calls 17.9 penalties per game. That is 7th in the league.
This will be the first time the Titans have had Anderson call their game this year. He was the referee in two of their games last year, against the Bills and Panthers.
Another Anderson fun fact, he was the line judge in the first game ever at Nissan Stadium (Adelphia Coliseum at the time). The Titans won that game 36-35 on a last second field goal by Al Del Greco. He was also the line judge for the Titans playoff loss in Oakland in January of 2003 (dang John Simon!).
