Marcus Mariota likes it when teams use a spy on him

His reasoning makes a lot of sense.

Marcus Mariota was on a conference call with the Green Bay media earlier this week and was asked how he feels about defenses using a spy against him. Here was his answer:

It really should be a big benefit to the Titans passing game if the Packers do decide to use a spy. That player is really only involved in the play if Mariota decides to run. It’s like playing 11 on 10, and for those of you that are bad at math, that is an advantage for the team that has 11- the Titans in this case.

I would like to sit down and talk football with Marcus Mariota. He seems to have a really high level of understanding of what is going on out there. You would assume that is the case with every quarterback, but I know for a fact that hasn’t always been the case even with the Titans.
