Reviewing the Titans quarter season approval polls

New, comments

How are fans feeling about the people in charge of the Titans at the quarter-season mark?

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

This week we posted approval polls for Amy Adams Strunk, Jon Robinson, Mike Mularkey, Dick LeBeau and Terry Robiskie. I don’t think anyone will be really surprised by the results. These things are pretty much always reflective of the wins and losses. In most cases that makes sense, but just keep it in mind going forward. There is a decent chance the Titans could win their next 2 games. People might start to feel better about the team with nothing really changing other than the quality of the competition.

Here is how the Amy Adams Strunk poll ended up:

This one makes sense to me. She made what looks like a great hire in Jon Robinson and a bad hire in Mike Mularkey. That pretty much splits it down the middle.

Here is the Jon Robinson poll:

53 trolls.

Here is the Mike Mularkey poll:

The hire was bad from the beginning. The results on the field haven’t changed my opinion on that.

The Dick LeBeau poll:

More trolls. The defense has been great through 4 weeks, especially when you consider the fact that Perrish Cox is starting for them.

And finally, the Terry Robiskie poll:

Again, just a bad hire from the start.

Like I said above, bad approval ratings for a bad team. I will be really interested to see how this changes if the Titans can win 3 of their next 4....which isn’t as crazy as it sounds.
