Titans Links!
Jim Wyatt gives us some notes from yesterday's practice. Orakpo has been off to a fast start this season. He has recorded four sacks in four games, and he believes the rest of the pass rushers will begin producing as well. He feels they are all on the verge, and they just have to keep coming. New Zealand futbol players met up with the Titans yesterday. They exchanged jerseys, and hung out wit the team. They even tried kicking some long field goals. All eyes are on Matthew...Hurricane Matthew that is. Mularkey stated there still hasn't been any news of a game relocation, but either way they will be going "full speed ahead."
Quick Hit: When Titans meeting rooms turn into courtrooms.
Glennon offers up three key matchups against the Dolphins. McCourty and McCain vs Jarvis Landry is first on his list. McCourty had a pretty solid game against the Texans, and will be seeing plenty of time up against Landry. Landry is currently second in the NFL with 31 catches, and fourth in yardage. Landry sliding into the slot is a reason McCain will be up against him as well. Rishard Matthews vs Xavien Howard is next up. Matthews accounted for two big plays last Sunday, and he should have some motivation going up against his former team. Howard is a rookie, and hasn't been all that special, so hopefully Matthews can shake him off for a few plays. Finally we finish up with Orakpo vs Branden Albert. Orakpo is just three sacks shy of his total from last year. Last week the Dolphins surrendered five sacks, but that was with the absence of Albert.
Quick Hit: Austin Johnson is ready to make an impact.
That's all for today. Happy reading!
