It is fun to have a draft class that actually comes in and contributes from day one. Tajae Sharpe was the story of the offseason, preseason and the first couple of games of the year. He has been one of the most talked about rookies in the entire league.
Jack Conklin has also been really good with less fanfare. The #1 job Jon Robinson had this offseason was to fix the Titans offensive line. Conklin was obviously the guy that Robinson liked the best in this draft. He gave up quite a bit to move back up and draft the offensive tackle from Michigan State.
Well the move has paid off in a big way for Robinson and the Titans. Conklin consistently grades out as one of the best players on the Titans each week. He is even Pro Football Focus’s 3rd best rookie (and second best right tackle) in the entire league:
