Your week 8 look at the AFC South Standings

The Lions had one job- to knock off the Texans so the Titans could have a share of the AFC South lead after 8 games. I had faith that Jim Bob Cooter and company could pull it off. Well they didn’t. They failed the entire city of Nashville.

Through 8 weeks the AFC South standings look like this:

1. Houston Texans 5-3
2. Tennessee Titans 4-4
3. Indianapolis Colts 3-5
4. Jacksonville Jaguars 2-5

The Texans are off week 9 before heading to Jacksonville in week 10. Maybe Blake Bortles will have his mechanics fixed by then....yeah probably not.

The Colts travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers in week 9. It is tough to see the Colts going up there and winning, even with as banged up as the Packers are, but stranger things have happened.

If the Titans can go out to the house of horrors that San Diego is for them and get a win, they will be tied for first place in the wins column.
