Titans Links!
Here are six hot topics from Mularkey's press conference on Friday. Mike's review of Mariota after Thursday night's game: He good. Mularkey said his decision making was very quick, and that Mariota has shown he can bounce back and is resilient. Henry and Murray both contributed to the 214 rushing yards this past Thursday, and although they split carries almost 50/50, Mularkey says the flow of the game will still dictate how the touches go. Mularkey said that both Wright and Matthews have stepped up their games these past recent weeks, and I hope they keep it up! Mularkey was asked what he's liked the most about the first half of the season. His answer: How the team has competed, and how they come in everyday to work. He was also asked about pulling Lewan after his penalty, and also touched on injuries.

Bonus Mariota Birthday Link: Mariota is among top young QBs in NFL history on his 23rd birthday.

For the first time since 2013 the Titans are at .500 going into the second half of the season. Progress! Much of their success is due in large part to Mariota's passing. Mariota's completion percentage this past Thursday was his second best since playing Tampa in week one of 2015, and was also the second highest by a Titans quarterback since McNair's 82.6% against the Colts in 2002. Credit is also due to Murray who has racked up 756 rushing yards already this season...that's 54 more than he had last year. Dang.

Quick Hit: The Titans are potent when Mariota clicks.
