The Titans special teams had a rough day yesterday on special teams with the Will Fuller return for a touchdown and the 12 men on the field penalty that gave the Texans 3 points.
Steve Hoffman has been with the Titans for 4 years, but has been coaching special teams for 27 years according to his bio on Titans Online.
I am glad to see this move happen. The special teams unit was a disaster out there yesterday. It would be interesting to know how this move came about. Did Jon Robinson tell Mike Mularkey this had to happen? Did Mularkey fight it? Does Robinson have enough pull to get Mularkey fired at the end of the season?
One can hope, right?
