Titans Links!
Well that was fun! The Titans beat the Jaguars 36 to 22 last night. The team is now 4-4 to finish out the first half of the season. Don't let the final score fool you. The Titans straight up dominated the Jaguars. Mariota played exceptionally well. He went 18 of 22, 270 yards, 2 touchdowns, and ended the night with a passer rating of 148.1. Murray was also awesome last night. He rushed for 123 yards on 21 carries and had a touchdown. Derrick Henry also saw some action, and he put up 60 yards himself, and scored his first touchdown in the NFL. Can they play like that every week?

Quick Hit: Five things you need to know about last night's game.

Here are some thumbs up and thumbs down from the game. Mariota's performance is a huge thumbs up. Dude was straight up money last night. He even got to sit out and let Cassel take over in the fourth quarter. Power running is sexy. There. I said it. The Titans exploded in the second quarter, and the defense was pretty stellar (minus the garbage time that is). And Wright is a playmaker. I'll admit it. I was getting weary on Wright, but that dude has been making plays left and right, and that is something this team has been needing in a bad way. Only two thumbs down: the opening drive, and the color rush uniforms.

Quick Hit: The Titans ride the balanced attack of Mariota and Murray to 4-4.

That's all for today. Happy reading!
